The Center for American Progress published a report finding LGBT immigrants are significantly more vulnerable to abuse in immigration detention and are 15 times more likely to be sexually abused than other individuals. Verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual assault are frequently reported by detained LGBT immigrants.
