Davino Watson is suing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security after it held him in immigration detention for three and half years despite his insistence that he was a U.S. citizen. The U.S. government is not allowed to detain U.S. citizens in immigration custody, but officials did not investigate Mr. Watson's claims and continued to detain him.
