NIJC's report, Not Too Late for Reform, co-authored by the Midwest Coalition for Human Rights, garnered national attention exposing the abuses in jails in the Midwest holding immigrants. The report calls for the closing of the three jails profiled, whose deplorable conditions mirror those in immigration detention facilities across the country.
