Media coverage of call by congress members for investigation into sexual abuse in U.S. immigration detention system

U.S. Representatives Jared Polis (D-CO), Michael Quigley (D-IL), and 26 other members of Congress wrote a letter to the Government Accountability Office calling for an investigation into sexual abuse in the U.S. immigration detention system. The call to action was prompted by NIJC's filing with the government complaints of abuse of LGBT individiuals in immigration detention in April, and by other continued reports of abuse.
