Jose Antonio Vargas and 10 other undocumented immigrants, including NIJC client Erika Aldape, filed a joint deferred action application asking President Obama to grant deportation relief for themselves and the millions of other undocumented immigrants who were left behind by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The action launched the "1 of 11 million" campaign which calls on President Obama to grant broad administrative relief to undocumented individuals who contribute to their communities and whose families are rooted in the United States.
