Immigration Oversight and Fairness Act Calls for Government Accountability

The Department of Homeland Security must be held accountable for the treatment of the more than 280,000 immigrant men, women, and children who pass through its custody every year. The Immigration Oversight and Fairness Act, H.R.7255, would improve immigrant detainees' access to legal counsel and medical care and improve oversight of the immigrant detention system.
