U.S. Immigration and Customs has said that number may rise as the raid at a meatpacking plant continues.

The Des Moines Register is reporting updates on the raid, in Postville, Iowa, which ICE says is the largest in the state's history.

The community surrounding Waterloo, Iowa, suspected a raid was about to happen yesterday when ICE "imposed a news blackout at the National Cattle Congress fairgrounds in Waterloo, where they have leased almost the entire property through May 25," according to the Register.
