Thursday, 29 November 2007
Make plans to be in Chicago this spring! The National Immigrant Justice Center is organizing the third annual conference on cutting edge issues involving unaccompanied immigrant children.

The conference will be hosted at The John Marshall Law School from April 3rd to April 5th and will bring together lawyers, government representatives, and policy makers from across the country to examine challenges, best practices, and policies that impact this vulnerable population.

During this same period, Chicago will be the site for the Second Migration & Child Welfare National Network Conference. A special joint session is being organized for the morning of April 3rd. This will provide participants with a rare opportunity to share experiences and develop holistic models that will better serve the needs of immigrant youth.

More information to come. For now, save the dates and help spread the word!
